Everybody who has been in Denmark and/or other risk areas within the last 14 days must report themselves to the German authorities and go into 14 days of quarantine.
Germany consider Denmark as a risk area. However freight transport in most German states is exempted if:
- The driver who is driving the freight vehicle stays in Germany for less than 72 hours.
- The driver who is driving the freight vehicle stays in Denmark or other risk area for less than 72 hours.
- The freight vehicle transit through Germany. Following applies to the transport in these German states:
Hessen - Freight transport is excluded if the driver has stayed in Denmark or other risk area for less than 72 hours. Berlin – Freight transport is not exempt for the rules. Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania – Only freight vehicles in transit are excluded.
BHS still expect carry out all transports to and from Germany. However, reservations are taken for possible delay as well as extra cost.
